We are an elite Baseball program pulling players from within the boundaries of Calgary and surrounding areas . 

Cardinals Baseball teaches their players to respect the game, work hard and to play hard.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to provide opportunities and exposure while competing at the highest levels in youth baseball; instilling discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, honesty and integrity.

OUR FOCUS

Cardinals Baseball Club focuses on consistent hard work and striving to become a better ball player. We believe in pushing your teammates to be better, picking them up when they are down, and always believing in yourself. Character is revealed in times of adversity and baseball provides that adversity. By putting these baseball players in extremely competitive situations, we help them develop their character which will benefit them not only in baseball but in life. 

OUR FOUNDER

With a love for the game of baseball and a passion to see kids excel at the sport. John Zwicker (affectionately known as Newf) embarked on a journey to create a competitive and affordable Baseball program for youth in Calgary.

What started 6 years ago with 1 team has now flourished into 6 teams and multiple provincial titles under their belt.

As the program began to take shape many people helped form what is today the Calgary Cardinals. Ryan Mushet, a long time friend joined the journey shortly after it began and continues to partner and be a pivotal support and leading role in continuing to develop and grow the current players and program.

The Cardinals have always been a family affair with Stacey (John’s wife) by his side putting in countless hours organizing and behind the scenes work, as well as both boys actively involved not only as players but # 1 fans and supporters of their dad and the program.
